OK JEKL's butt buddy #2, I'll humor you. I paid 3k for the hiros BRAND NEW, more than that for my BRAND NEW Work Meister 3pc. Did I say I'm a baller? $3k just isn't such an absurd amount of money to spend, like JEKL and other people make it out to be. It might be to them, but just because I don't think so does that mean I'm a baller or that I'm claiming to be one? No, thats just you putting words into my mouth. You can't afford it, I can, so what? As far as me ripping people off, where you there? do you have the PMs? The pictures I emailed to the buyer? Do you really think i'd sell the set of rims for only $300 more than the tires costs if they were in perfect condition? They are used, normal wear and tear plus curbage... buyer had pictures. You weren't there, so please STFU or GTFO. YES, I used the money from the hiros to pay a portion of the works, WHO THE F#CK WOULDN'T??? WTH am I going to do with 3 sets of wheels?
I'm selling my full coils b/c my car is too damn low. I want to make it higher, and the drop I'm looking for can be achieved by drop springs. So yes, its all about the $$$. Which sounds better to you columbo:
option A) full coils with a drop that can be obtained with springs
OR
option B) Same drop as A, except with springs and couple hundred extra $$?
Yeah, I had lambo doors... when I was in all out car show mode with my car. Now I'm going for a more comfortable daily driver, got a problem with that? Seriously dude, get a life. And let me ask you, what do you think is a good price for MY items? I send pictures with all my sales on this forum. Don't attack MY credibility when you weren't even a part of the 2 transactions that me and the buyer didn't see eye to eye. I've got more iTraders than you along with several other sales not even on there. Why don't you ask those people how I do it. I respond fast, ship fast, and provide pictures and prices that I think are fair.

lol it was interesting haha, I got some good opinions, I can't believe he said he would be embarrassed to be seen in my car lol! and I don't agree that the molding of my rockers are bad... I think there excellent... not one gapp

it doesn't look blue in person, the picture was taking pretty much after the car was painted, it's more the camera, if the color match was off I would of had it fixed
I stared at the pics for a long time after someone pointed out the non-matching paint. I can't really see it. This is coming from someone with a mismatching fender. With PPW it's pretty obvious when the paint doesn't match. Just make sure to check it out in different light.

yeah it's mostly the camera and the light... looks good in person, off topic but one of my alpine speakers went today so I've decided to put in focals up in the front, can't wait to hear them!!
How much power were you running to the Alpine that blew? I'm assuming that the second amp is powering your fronts and rears.

I agree with FineWine here. I have a set of Focals sitting in my house and have decided to hold off on putting them in until I get kickpods. The door location sucks and the sail panel tweeter location even more on the Z, and if you do decide to put them in the doors, then in you will need a 1 inch spacer for them to clear. Focals are awesome, but without an adequate amp and door or kickpods you will never hear their potential.

It'd be tough to damage the coil during shipping, but even if it was it should have been noticed during the install. Your installer also should have tweaked the gains, so unless you messed with the settings or cranked the HU passed the clipping point, frying the coil shouldn't have happened either...unless the installer sucks. If none of the above, it was just faulty and should be replaced under warranty.
Were the speakers making physical contract with the door panel? I had that problem with mine for a while.
kickpods relocate the speakers to the kickpanels, and fire them more towards the listeners. That'll give you better staging, and much better sound quality. They also seal the speakers better, making them more efficient
