Default window malfunction?

When I roll up the automatic window on the passenger side it goes all the way up then goes back down about 1/4 of the way. Is this normal? Or is there a fix for this? The driver side window is just fine.

Actually, sounds like the motor works, but needs to be reset.

Search.

this has been covered already and there is a DIY in the DIY section.

Sounds to me like the motor is starting to go if the window is sagging on its own. That seems to be the most common circumstance when involving this problem.

But yes, try the reset first...its free.

I've already replaced my passenger side motor. Now the drivers side is going out.... It's a losing battle. Just have to accept the fact that nissan window motors suck.

Try cleaning it first. Just make sure you get all of the electronic cleaner out of it before you plug it back in (the mistake I made).
