Is mirror tint really considered that ricer or tacky?

My boy has a subtle mirror tint on his Denim Blue Audi TT and it looks sweet...
I've got a Lemans Sunset Z and i've got my windows Murdered out. I wouldnt think that mirror tint would look good on my car or many other "louder" colors, but I think it would be ok on your car. Go to a decent shop and they'll have different level of mirror. dont get 100% ricey, "see your reflection perfect" tint, get a more subdued silver/metallic with reflection..

my 02.

I used to have 35% reflective tint on my car. It was ugly cause the front windows come factory with a greenish tint compared to the rear windows which are clear. So when you put up the tint, the green is really noticeable compared to the rear windows.

You can sorta see it in this picture. My suggestion, just go with the regular smoke tint.

why not just go with a good quality metalized smoked tint. It will give you some of that look without being over the top.

I think when you mirror tint...it says "I try too hard" without trying too hard.....basically, a little thing like mirror tint can ruin a car's image....just my opinion

Look dude, I know it's hard to take advise from a guy who rocked the hamburglar mask on his headlights for a while....but don't do it.

Your car is going to be bad freaking ***. Like really nice, classy but teetering on the line of, "over the top." The area of that line that screams originality and foresight. Putting that silver *** tint on it will put you way way over the line from classy and original, to just plain tacky. Just my two cents. I say, sample some nice metallic tints, (I have 35% metallic and I love it.) find what looks good with the color and is functional for you, tint and quit. However I don't think that "as dark as you can stand" is the best policy for tint. Certain colors and certain people require certain tints.
But it's yor car bro. You are the one driving it. Do what you want.

I can always sell you my hamburglar mask. You know you can't resist.....
