Will Stickers Wreck Tinted Windows
I was thinking about putting my Northeastern University sticker on the rear window.
I have tinted windows and was wondering if this sticker wreck the tint. I want to put it on because Boston and Northeastern cops will generally give some leeway to cars of Northeastern students parked around the campus, which sometimes you have to do illegally because of different situations such as pick up/drop off.
Thanks.
I'm not sure if it is adhesive or not. It's more just like a laminant with some type of "suction" to hold it in place. It's a typical college sticker you see on the back of many cars. (whatever it is made out of)

If a decal is on for a long time the tint will not fade under the decal, when you remove the decal you will still have a ghost of the decal in your tint. A simple retint at that time will fix it.
^ But what if OP is "Inside Out" man??
OP, can't you just get like a "NU" License Plate Frame or something??
I'd hate to have to put a sticker anywhere on my vehicle, would probably even follow the law because of it...

he is talking about the clear stickers/stick-ons that go on the inside of the car... if you were to place it on the outside it would be backwards..
I think most of these just CLING to the glass and not actually stick.. so answer is no it would not hurt the tint if that is the case..
on the other hand if it is anything you have that has adhesive on it of any kind i would not put it on the tint
