Default Removing holes left from aftermarket spoiler

Hey everyone,

I took the my nismo v1 spoiler off my car and like the look of it. How much do you think it usually costs for a body shop to patch up the holes and repaint? I am also in the process of looking for someone to switch rear hatches with me.

Thanks

Depends on the body shop. They will most likely grind over the holes, spot weld them shut, bondo, primer, paint. Maybe around $100-200?

wow, there is a big difference between $200 and $600. Im guessing it would be more because they have to paint the whole hatch?

youll have to go to different bodyshops and get quotes. it will not be as cheap as you'd like it to be. much better if you can find someone to swap you hatches.

^^^^ Fuuuuuuu....

You're probably already doing this, but definitely put some effort in finding someone who wants a free Nismo spoiler...then switch hatches.

Not many Z enthusiasts close to me.. some in Denver but I tried for a while and no luck.

Im still deciding what to do with my v2 spoiler haha.

A few bolts, nothing major, but you have to line the hatch up perfectly on the mounts or else you'll have fitment issues.

I would just take it to a bodyshop for an actual estimate.

Let me know what it turns out to be (in case I ever change mine).
