I just happened to put one on yesterday as a spur-of-the-moment purchase while at the parts store for some other stuff. I got it because it matches my Agency Power muffler

Sorry for the crappy phone pic

When I first installed it the shift boot was super low leaving about 1.5" of the shaft exposed, it looked gross.. After about 20 minutes of messing around I used the stock plastic piece in the shift boot, a zip tie and a piece of tubing that fits over the shaft to hold the boot up closer to the ****.

I'm still not 100% happy with how it fits, so I ordered a B&M short shift and hopefully that will drop it down a bit and then I can mess with the shift boot to make it look better.

^^^ looks pretty good to me. But yeh, a better pic would be nice. I thought you bought the gunmetal? Looks like the neo in that pic. How does it feel compared to the stock ****? And by the way, I heard horror stories about the B&M short shifters...

Yah, it's the neo, matches my Agency Power muffler

I like the feel so far, a good bit heavier than stock.

The short shift should be here Friday, I'll let you know how it goes..

I have the Blox 490 **** installed with a shift **** base collar from Zeetoyz. I purchased the **** and wasn't happy with the look (due to the gap) until I got the finisher. Now I like it.

I think the collar was somewhere around $10 plus shipping. Worth the money IMHO. I painted mine black to match my **** and it has held up well so far.

Installed gunmetal one on my car over the weekend. Agree with needing the **** base collar. Picked mine up at home depot.

F'n sweet shifter. The gears just go right in and feels just right. Had the nismo before and there is some effort there. This just drops right in. When I get home tonight I will post pix of it. But again with the collar it is definitely bad a$$. Gunmetal is the only color to get.

There is a good thread on here that covers this

https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-an...hank-pics.html

You can also google zeetoys

*edit: I also agree with gidiup above. There's a good weight to the shifter now which provides a smoother shift feel

Thats just a little bit too shiny for me with a near stock interior, maybe it's just the picture just making it seem that way though.

Can you post one where you can see the logo? It looks red in the pictures, im thinking of getting one but IDK about the red letters, maybe if they could be painted black? How do you get the locking nut on underneith the boot and tighten it?

As you can see its not that shiney. Works with black interior well. I've never seen one with red lettering. Mine is engraved on it and the color overstates the engraving. The nut is just underneath the ball. I got a collar at home depot and installed it over the boot. If you want to install the nut under the boot you need to pop the boot off and over the stick and put the nut on under and reinstall the boot.
