Default Rustoleum spay on headlight tint anyone?

I was at Autozone today and i saw a product made by Rustoleum called headlight tint in a rattle can I asked the guy behind the counter if he knew anything about it, and he said it works great if you take your time and do it correctly. Anyone ever tried this stuff? Is it worth trying? waste of money?

never head of it, but i'd imagine its similar to the VHT Nightshade stuff.

As such, the time you spend and the work you do will reflect how good it turns out. If you let the coats dry and apply evenly, wetsand appropriately, and end with a good clearcoat on top they will probably come out looking good. I think there's a DIY on here for them

follow the prep directions carefully and then do it again...wearing some disposable plastic gloves because oil from your fingers will cause problems when applying.
had to remove first application, wet sand, rebuff and reapply cause i was in a rush the first go round.
I used the VHT when I did this on a old ride.
