Anyone have this rigged up to their third brake light? Friend of mine thinks is really stupid but I feel it would be somewhat beneficial to the drivers behind me since people in SC cannot drive.

I'd check into the legality of flashing red lights. Red and blue are frowned upon heavily around here. (impersonating Police).

Depends on what state you live in it may not be illegal, I know where I live its not illegal to have "blinking" brake lights, just different colored blinking lights that serve no purpose, unless your the police.

 

Blinking lights help when you're the police don't they Novesh? Beats the crap out of yelling out the window.

Mine does that right now but it came like that from the dealership and every single one they have does that. Any idea how to make it stop?

 

There's a little electronics package you can install that makes the high-mounted brake light flash several times and then go steady each time you apply the brakes. You can splice it into the wiring under the trim piece forward of the light on the hatch.
