My 05 is having serious...annoying...and unbearable rattle+squeak in dashboard(?), Where the speed, RPM, gas gauge are. This is more like rattle.
I think the rattle is coming from somewhere between the dashboard and the glass that protects the gauges. It rattles like a M**** f**** but SOMETIMES it goes away after like 20mins of driving. When it rattles, i press down the dashboard kinda hard and it seems to stop until i let go of my hands.
God damn, i drove 30 miles to the dealer where i got my car without knowing that the sound is coming from the dashboard. They test drove to see if they can hear the sound and NOPE! the freaking sound disappeared. They are like "We have to hear the sound so that we know what's wrong." I kept telling them the sound was coming from the steering area. I think they at least shouldve took some parts out and check because i drove 30 miles there just for that rattle. So at the end, i put 60 miles on my car and got nothing
Anyone have this rattle?

 

mine has a rattle but it is very faint. It does come from the same spot as you describe

 

good thing yours in faint. Imagine LOUD constant rattle sound coming right in front of your face for a long time

 

I own a 07 and so does my brother his rattles loud from the same spot as yours but it comes and goes. His car has 28,000 miles on it but his car rattles really bad from the right rear suspension sounds as if the shock is going to fall out!

 

Same issue I have. Pretty annoying, I just turn the audio all th eway up to drown it out. I do need to fix that sob though cause it does bother me to death.

 

i can hear the rattle CLEARLY even though i turn up the radio loud. But i don't listen to music loud. I wish someone has DIY or fixed this problem.

i already checked this DIY. But this isn't it. My rattle is from the dashboard where the gas guage is. This DIY on rattle from passenger side
