Default hood pins: any non-stealable kind?

hood pins look like they can be asily stolen

are there any that have an antitheft feature built in?

Thanks,

i've seen some with a keylock feature. The question being, why would anyone want to steal them...they're just long bolts with a lanyard hole at the end. i guess anyone will steal anything cuz it's there.

I had locking hoodpins on my Mustang and they were nothing but trouble. Since the key hole faces upward they were constantly getting clogged and jamming. In the winter water would get in them and they would freeze shut. Hoddpins are more for show unless you have a hood that does use a front latch.

hood pins are not for show, or not for me anyways. "dummy" hood pins are for show.

i'm talking about real ones so that my future hood doesn't smack me in the face.

He didn't want me to touch it at first, but I brought home an Injen CAI anyways; after that he went mod crazy and told me to get whatever I wanted to get. It's good for us since we get to mod the car together since he likes to spend time with me.

He lets me drive it occasionally. I'm saving up for an black enthusiast. I'm 1/5 way there.

got a set of hood pins on the rsx like jimster provided in the link. they are similar style except that the pins are made by cucso. never had any problems with water or freezing, but then again its never that cold in SF. just so you know, they are a pain to install.
