The Sparco "EVO" for example... 15 pounds. That is sweeeeeet.
Yeap, that's the model I like however I have these ordered in black.

I haven't had a chance to sit in either one of these, but I hear nothing but good reviews on both. I'm curious to hear opinions as to which one would be better? I want the "feel wrapped up" feel to where you're "IN" the seat :-) If that makes sense, haha.

My two choices:
What are your plans for the old seats? Were there other reasons why you wanted to replace what otherwise seems like a pretty decent stock seat right away?
    Thanks!

See, I don't mind the weight of the Sparco's because they are adjustable. Having fixed back, full race seats is cool and all, but personally, i'd rather be comfortable with good support. Hell, I've even thought about the electric adjust seats (now those are heavy i hear). But each person has different ideas for their Z. And thats why the Z is such a great car.

If you have a daily driver, & like to take girls out to impress them, then i would recommend adjustable seats. As far as i know, Bride are not FIA certified, however Sparco are. I've known people that have been in accidents with both. Both walked away unscratched. The bride seat was involved in a roll over, and the sparco seat saved the guy's life. He side swiped a light pole, and the seat frame helped protect him.

I would go with leather it will last longer than the alcantara.

I'm not sure of the "Turbo Connection" around in Edwardsville. I try to stay away from shops at all possible. I do all of my buying and selling online and have saved thousands that way :-)

I will definatly start looking around on E-bay. . especially on the Monza.

Whosdady.... what do you drive .... any modifications? Maybe we could meet up somewhere. Always fun knowing someone around town with another Z.

Sounds good. I drive a silverstone Enthu, 5AT. I have the ATI procharger, Stillen exhaust, and RT HF cats.

I have a silverstone touring and I installed the Milano seats and they are very nice. I had to make my seat frames since the Sparco ones are on back order. They are much more comfortable and don't look bad either. I also made the frames a taller to bring the seating position up a little.
