This is what I feared for the op too, but I am no body/paint expert.

Because there was no shop that was charging $200. Every where that i called charged around $40 a fender. Thanks for asking though.

thanks for all the help guys, Im not gonna paint the fender, because then it may not match, and thats a whole other issue. And i dont want to paint the whole car. Is there any way i can just put primer or clear coat over it so the cracking dosent spread? I just dont want it to spread over the fender where its noticeable. I can live with it being unnoticeable. Please be specific in what i buy and how i do it. Because im not very knowledgeable with painting and primer. All ive done so far is used a couple layers of touch-up paint to cover the spots.

Sorry but this did not work well. The unpainted metal will corrode.

There's no such thing as guaranteed success when it comes to fender rolling. Anytime you bend painted metal you're rolling the dice. Although with a more reputable shop the chances of it coming out better are much higher, as they will take all necessary steps to minimize the chances of cracking.

Well I wish pple would of said it earlier, cause I've researched this for months and nobody talked about the risks. And I mean nobody. Pple actually seemed to promote it. Eg: get your fenders rolled!! I guess I was just unlucky. I think I'm gonna sell my car soon and get a sc430. It bothers me too much. But i still need new rear tires asap, should I go with 295/30/19 or 285/35/19??? Is there even a big diff in width? Ive been running 275/35's, and thats why I rolled my fenders , to get bigger tires. So I better do it now aftr all this. My rims are 10.5" wide

Your problem is lack of search. Don't blame it on us. Ask first.

I'm not blaming on you guys, do be such a sensitive drama queen. I'm asking for help, just like your telling me too. All I said was that nobody talked about any risks, so I'm guess I'm was unlucky this happened to me.
since everybody else had a good experience.

So don't jump to conclusions next time.

Well, your question has been answered. Paint or sand and prime the QP or hope for the best. Sorry your paint got chipped.

i had my fenders cut and sealed with a bead of silicone. it hasnt rusted or mishaped the fender in 4 years.

you can always sand it down your self and put a bead of silicone on instead of priming for a DIY job.

Id have the shop take care of it, but if you signed nothing and they provided you no paper work then you might be out of luck.
As far as the above quote, I checked into rolling all of maybe 30 min once when considering wheels. The only thing that stuck out in my head is the possibility of wavy lines and chipped paint. I searched here, google and youtube. Always look for the possibilities of the negative when researching. then weight your benefits and risk factors, if your willing to do so "roll the dice" and hope it comes out. of course I would have taken it to a reputable place that I know can do the work. I dont trust any one with anything. yeah it might be a little fender, a piece of metal on a d*mn car, but I like it and i want it to be near perfect. You dont have to pay premium to get the good stuff, the shops who have reputation have customers and dont need to charge super premiums. they know they do a good job and get return and new customers. bottom line. RESEARCH.

If i were you, id research (GOOGLE) what happens to primer or metal when left uncovered. Broken paint, paint chips etc etc. Just type the words in, learn what it does. then think what to do about it, and do it.

dude - you already got a half a$$ job done - don't redo it with another half a$$ job. sand it down - reprimer...and leave it alone....you don't even have to color match (cause its on the inside)..you just don't want the chips to "spread" - if they do - it WILL go to the outside and then your EPICALLY screwed....all for a measly $80 buck shietty job..

It wont take you long - promise...you will be cursing that shop to hell while your doing it but at least YOU know it wont spread... your really OK since its ALL on the inside.. Think of it as if you got a free fender roll - and perhaps you wont feel so "screwed"...
