Anyone painted JDM Tails?

I like my JDM Tails, but the chrome is starting to bother me.

Has anyone ever painted the chrome part black or body color? Looking for pictures if so.

also can you make the turn signal L.E.D's the actual brake light's?

I can take some for you, what are you looking for exactly so I can get the shots you need.

Yes, I can make you a harness that would allow the brake light leds to function as the turn signal and the brake lights if you would like.
