Go ahead and blackout your inner headlamp housing. It would look sweet. As for tinting the taillights, that will get you pulled over really quick probably. It happened to a few people i know and they just took them off

to tint the tails its real easy.. i just had mine sprayed with some black paint, and he mixed sum clear in it to give a glossy look.. if you have the led tails then it'll be no prob. just dont go too dark

you could also tint your taillights with lens film. Its like window tint but thicker and its alot easier to get off.

Sorry to burst your bubble but...

In Tennessee, the vehicle code states:
55-9-402. Lights required on motor vehicles....
(b) (1) Every motor vehicle shall be equipped with two (2) red tail lamps ....

Your legal requirement is for red lamps, not smoked. Probably would be cited.

In Tennessee your car must not have a visible light transmittance of less than thirty-five percent (35%).

so tinting your headlights is fine to an extent.

Check your local laws just in case, they might have changed it.

and about laws.. anything you do gives you a chance to get pulled over.. but the laws usually regard color being emitted from the vehicle. The colors need to be all be similar so other driviers know what they mean, and also that they dont mimic an emergency or official vehicle. Again, the laws usually are regarding the light color, ( maybe its crazydiff in TN..dunno) but cops have open rule to pull you over for anything anyways, court is a totally different story.. theres wiggle room.. wana avoid it? leave em stock. sadly i have been waaay to close to the law for all this stuff alot.
