I really love the way these look. Are the insides custom painted black or do I have to buy them that way?

You have to take off your headlights, bake them in the oven, pull them apart, paint the housing/reflectors, let the paint dry for several hours (some people say 24hrs..personal preference), reassemble and reseal the headlights.

That's a basic overview of what you do. It's much a much more complicated/long process than what I typed above. If you plan to do this...give yourself at LEAST 3 and a half hours...it took me about 4-5hrs because I did it safe/correct.

There are painted on the inside. You can either do it yourself or have someone else do it. I think there is a DIY in the DIY yourself section.

Can you have a body shop do it?

What about my tail lights? I want them to look just like this. Most of the pictures I have seen with blacked out tail lights on 350zs still have a hint of red. How do I get them like this? I want it solid black...but still functional obviously.

Blacking out your taillights is MUCH easier than doing your headlights.

Just googled "how to black out tail lights"...these were the first few results:

http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/paint-...aillights.html

http://www.google.com/#q=how+to+blac...d42bd6bc88e9a3

http://www.g35driver.com/forums/ligh...aillights.html

That should point you in the right direction. Honestly....just search on google. It's the quickest/easiest way to find things. Or use the search tool on this site rather than starting a new thread.

Is it illegal? I'm in TN so you get away with having tinted windows for the most part.
