Default help me decide what color my door handles should be.

I already have a spare set of door handles(thanks thackattack); so this is more or less a no risk situation if I dont like the outcome, I put the silver back on.

but I have super black with bronze rims...

should the handles be black or bronze? and along with the color, should they be matte or gloss?

Im leanin towards matte either way, not into shiny handles for this application, but I dont know how matte black would look, might just look dull.

anyway what do you think.

dude, matte bronze in the same finish as your wheels. That would be way too hot. I agree that if you paint them matte black they will just look faded since you car is gloss black. My car is blue and I want black wheels so I am painting the door handles to match. Check my sig. On this car is just looks good when the handles match the wheels.

I REALLY wish I could get the same finish on the handles as the rims. the bronze I beleive is different than all others in that it is textured not smooth... Id really love to have the handles in the same textured appearance, but I have no idea how they got the texture, and Im sure it only works on metal using powder coating or something, not plastic(which I can 100% say for sure they are)

Gloss bronze would be interesting, if you could get it to match your wheels. I would just color-match it to your black paint.

Matching wheels would be really cool.

If you can't get that done thought match the body color.

IMO, or course.

i would do bronze, but i'm not too sure how it would look, if anything you should try bronze first, that way you could always get them painted black? or am i wrong...dunno how the paint process works

Is the whole door handle aluminum or just the part you pull on? Powder coating would be ideal but not if you cant to the whole thing.

nope none of it is metal of any sort, 100% plastic, you can see the ejector pin marks on the back.

a low gloss black would be super sweet. like the finish on the handles now...but in black.

I have the exact same setup, im painting them super black if i ever decide to do it. IMO the bronze door handles will be overkill. If you bronze the handles, it will clash with the silver nissan badging. ..Giovanni..

I'd try to match the wheels as much as possible. I think the flat black would look faded, and the gloss would be ok, but to dark IMHO.

Just my $.02
