Default From Bodykit back to OEM?

Has anyone gotten a bodykit and then decided later they wanted to go back to OEM? I think my car looks great but am SO sick of all the chips because my front bumper and side skirts are fiberglass. I have to touch them up every couple of months and I'm over it. I could go with a new urethane bodykit but am thinking I want to just go back to OEM.

Anyone else go back to OEM? (not to sell the car...)

The 350Z stock is a beautiful designed car. Sometimes a kit looks like plastic stuck on a car. There is a beautiful 350Z underneath trying to escape.

Your Z looks great! Just put a clear bra on it after you repaint the bumper and you should be all good.

It'll keep the parts you Clear Bra like it was just painted. Have it on mine and no chips to complain about.

I Have! I had the same V2 as you with v1 sides and v1 spoiler. Got rid of my whole kit, slapped my oem front back on got a top secret lip and called it a day.

With all that being said, I miss my v2 and most likely will end up getting a new one later on.

I say keep it how it is and install a clear bra as most are saying. GL.

Unless you buy a DD and leave the Z as a weekend/garage queen she's going to get raped by the Socal streets.

There is not much you can do about it except try to dodge the bigger objects on the road and try not to tailgate.

hey, I am in the same boat. Chips everywhere on my V2. Getting it repainted and clearbra installed at the end of august. IMO the V2 is just aesthetically more pleasing than the oem, getting rid of it would be a dissapointment, especially after you just paid 700+ to get it on.

Don't go back to oem. Your car looks good. Clear Bra will save you time and money and the frustration
