Default oops

had a minor run in with a protruding rock when parking in the night. i don't need to this to look perfect but i'd like to make it not noticeable unless you really look for it. a new rocker panel unpainted would be around $270 and i'm not looking to spend that much money. you can feel the scratches with your fingers but they don't have much depth to them. i don't think those will buff out though cause the panel is made of plastic. any ideas? thanks everybody

Buff out what you can with orbital buffer and touchup the rest with touchup paint from Nissan, if you want a cheap fix.

It will not buff out completely if you can feel scratches with your fingers. Do the best you can though.

Well you might want to wetsand first with some high high grit sandpaper like maybe 3-4000 grit to make the area smooth. And then apply some touchup paint, and then buff. When you buff, it blends the paint around a little, so I would try that.

Check out the private classified ads, i'm sure you can find one for a lot cheaper than $270

I was really envious until I saw you didn't have a green Z.

Put a decal on it and say it's a battle scar from drifting.
