Default Upgraded to 07 front bumper. Need Grille Opinions.

So I used to rock the stillen hood in CF, along with a Varis duct and CF V1 lip on my 03 bumper. After my V1 lip got ripped off on the freeway and my hood started to fade and oxidize, I decided it was time for an update and something more subtle.

I decided to upgrade my bumper to the 06+, I bought the 06+ fender liners and had the hood painted as well.

Only problem was when I picked up the car from the body shop they painted the whole damn bumper including the grille.

I did ask them to paint the reflectors because I wanted to try something different that is easy to reverse by purchasing new reflectors. I like the reflectors but I think the grille may be too much blue.

The shop owner said he would repaint my grille black for free (obviously) if I want him to.

I need some more opinions, my friends and family are split between go black for OEM look or stay blue to be different.

I am leaning towards going to black, or possibly the OEM dark charcoal finish the 06+ grille has.

Should I go black, charcoal, or stay blue? If I go black or charcoal should I do a gloss or semi-gloss?

All opinions welcome so long as they are constructive.

Here is what it used to look like for reference:

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics!

EDIT:

Here's what I decided.

Thanks for the quick feedback guys!

Unfortunately grille-less is not an option. I rocked that look for almost 4 years and I'm ready for a more stock look. Sleeper status! haha.

So I didn't have a lot of time to decide this because it was take it in this week or forever hold my peace w/ the blue. So I dropped the car off and I brought in the center piece of a friends 07 z's grille so they could color match the charcoal color. Going with that for the closest to OEM look.

I am going to keep the reflectors for a few months and see how I feel about them. If I decide I don't like them I will get OEM orange and smoke them.

Thanks for the opinions!!

Let's be fair. No one truly "likes" the stillen hood.

...although it has grown on me over time. Much more subtle now that it's painted. Wish I could fit an OEM 03-05 hood on there.

This was the former look... and in case anyone didn't read the initial post, I lost the V1 lip after 4 years on the damn freeway when a car accident in front of me had parts flying and ripped it off.

I'll post a pic of the updated grille color for everyone when I get a moment to snap a shot and upload it.
