Arrow Anyone mount their antenna on the roof?

I have the antenna on my Celica mounted on the roof. I'm thinking about doing the same for my Z. Has anyone done this yet? pics?

it would have to be a really really stubby antenna. Personally I would prefer no antenna showing at all. I think it'll look kinda weird cause you also got the rear sprayer, so looks like dual antenna (if you can picture it)

I have a stubby antenna I'll be using. I'll post a pic of it later.

nah Id like the antenna to disappear, not make it a more prominent feature. not a TT or a BMW.

The shark Fin antenna's on the BMW's are pretty sleek.

yeah I dont mind them, I think its actually the GPS recieiver for those cars, but still seems like a BMW trademark now, same for the antenna on the TT.

I'm thinking of getting a shorter antenna from another car. If you guys think our antenna's are bad... you should get a load of the Celicas'! (BTW, I still have the lightning rod from my Celica and tried it on the Z just for kicks )

so you would mount an antenna on the roof, but what about the stock antenna on the left rear panel??? would you have 2 antennas or would you shave the stock antenna off?? i think it'd look pretty weird with 2 antennas.

Ya, I won't have the antenna in it's stock location, just on the roof.

so youd get it welded filled and painted just to have an antenna on the roof?

i wish the Z had come with an antenna built into the glass like a lot of cars have, my friends '04 WRX has it like that, and the 98-02 accords did as well
