yup.. all the sheet metal is still silverstone under there..
I used 3m180cv3 vinyl from american sign producst.. ran me about 850 shipped for 50 yards.. enuff to do two cars if necc.

Ran me about 800 to get the sheet metal wrapped ( labor) and my actual veilside pieces are bieng painted to match the vinyl wrap. Im rpetty handy but wrapping is the most unappealing and difficult thing to do in my opinion.. the stuff is thin n stretchy like saran wrap.. sticks to itself.. I tried to do my veilside mirrors w it.. and quickly gave up.

Its a satin black, not flat too.. has a nice shine to it. Def better than primer haha.

SO its a true basecoat clear coat w a satin clear over fully prepped, primed and black sprayed base.

SHould look ill w my terra cotta leather and suede seats as the only color in the car. .. other than some carbon fiber pieces and black vinyl.
Have some seibon carbon door panels to do too. Fit is a nightmare tho, will prob run a few hundo to install em.. so Ill wait until after I get my wheels paid for.

Got a sick deal on forgetsar f14s in 20x9.5 and 20x12.. gloss black w a burnt orange pinstripe on the rim..

thats pretty sick. I also had the same idea but the material is killer price wise.
Yea the installation seems to be on the difficult side also. Still debating on this but probably gonna get some practice on little things first.
If I were to find a hook up like this guy

Its literally the least rewarding work ive ever tried haha.
Im a firey guy, and it made me break things on purpose within 30 minutes. That bad.

if you put them anywhere else they would really look dumb.

Its a prefit and precut acrylic piece that goes under the headlight.
Thats why theres a thread.. its not the lame stick on strip for ten bucks on ebay.

But to each their own.

I mean, i got rid of a perfectly good webersport kit on my car and installed a veilside version 3 wide.. the most played out kit known to man.. but i still think its dope, and its what i wanted when i bought the car, and now i have it.

its nostalgic !

I put these on my black Z about 2 weeks ago and I love them. Install was a piece of cake, and they are very subtle and classy. I hate DIY jobs where there are too many LEDs close together and are far too bright. These are just perfect! I love them!
