Default How much for this...

I LOVE the way these look. How much would this cost? I can't do it myself (no WAY am I cracking open the housing). I've seen other cars with these, but the Z just looks phenomenal IMO.

well doing the LEDs requires a bit more work than a heat gun and some paint. also the white prism strip is not exactly found at pepboys. meaning all in all not something you can do in its entirety yourself.

but the paint... yes you can do that.

im sure the LEDs do take precision, but i also think most people just want that black housing look, regardless of the LED. I think most people agree that 800 dollars is quite ridiculous considering you have to send in your own lights for 2-3 weeks

yeah no doubt not worth 800$ for black housings alone, you could buy LOTS of paint, and 2 new housings to work on for 800$.

i will say that i had my headlights done special at clearcorners.com. by special, i mean that there were some changes i had them make to their normal kit.

i also think 800 is too much for just a black out kit, but thier kit comes with a new blinker led cluster (not a 194 bulb with leds.. but a whole different fixture. it also comes with new prism strips on the side, and a ton of leds.

i do think 800 is not a lot when you are seperating your car from the crowd. i personally could have done a blackout job on my headlights by myself, but i loved the led modifications that clearcorners.com offered.

here is a sneak peak at mine: (with 6K bulbs to match LEDs... i will have daytime pics tomorrow..)
