Default 2005 Leather seat motor went out. Help, new to the Z

Leather seats with heaters. My driver side stopped working yesterday. I pulled the seat out and had to manually bring it back to where I could drive the car. Has anyone had to replace a motor? I called Nissan and they said they would need to do the whole seat assembly for 600-800$. I'm new to the Z! And are looking for other options. Would also consider new seats or just making this seat manual.

It most likely is not the motor and it is the switch on the side of the seat. Call nissan they sell them for 70 dollars.
