Yeah, I wasn't sure what % I wanted, and this helped out a lot.

 

Apparently you haven't been in a tint shop or car dealership.

 

Why would you think that? I'm a technician at a dealership actually and I am very familiar with tint laws. I write the inspection stickers.

 

All tint shops and lots of dealers have actual samples of the tints they offer - that's why I think that a video is of marginal value. I should have completed the previous statement with "... and seen actual samples".

A video is nice but it's not a replacement for the "live and in-person" inspection. It's like all the exhaust clips online, they aren't a true, accurate representation of what an exhaust system will sound like.

Something is lost in the video/audio recording, especially through the low quality of a Youtube video. That combined with monitor and speaker quality never really give you an accurate representation.
