Default shaved emblem on front bumper

hey guys im thinking about shaving my emblem on the front bumper.. i was wondering if anyone had already done it and how much they paid for the paid and everything.. i asked a shop and they are charging me $350.. what do you guys think? yay or nay?

personally i like the emblem. i think it looks empty without one.

for that money you could buy a very low key looing aftermarket front end and have it painted. They are pretty cheap. DO an Origins kit, looks like the ol RSW stuff etc.
Even if the rest of the car was stock, itd still look nice.

Call intense motorsports..they are a site sponsor.. as pete for a good price on one.

I personally wouldnt pay to "shave" it at all... seems like alot of work for a urethane plastic bumper that is difficult to do body work on in the first place. im sure it would develop cracks easiily.

i want it done too but idk 350 seems a bit high and could be used to something better towards the car.

I wouldnt do it for that kind of money. Listen to the guy telling you to get a simple aftermarket bumper if anything.

Are they going to paint the entire bumper or just shave it, prime, then paint where it was?

I wouldn't pay $350.00 for it, but if that's the only thing you can think of to spend the money on, go for it dude!

Here's a shot of mine with the shaved emblem. I had it done when I was already having the bumper and rear hatch repainted, so the shop just added about $100 to the bill to fill the front and rear emblems.
