Default Custom Kinetix V+ cover

so after installing my v+ I was way bummed in how the cover fit. first time i cut it to fit, I left the v6 at the top but after some time it was just too sloppy looking.

so with some free time this weekend, some fiberglass resin/bondo, dremel and a lot of sandpaper. I was able to modify my oem cover to help fit/follow the lines of the v+.

Still need to decide how I will badge it up now....
let me know what you think

Can i remove these easily? are they cam covers? will fluid come out haha?
i want to paint these since they show, now that i cut the plastic that covers them. i have seen other people paint them before.

Thought about cutting mine a little where its against the plenum, but who cares. The hood is closed most of the time. Actually i'll probably just remove the cover anyhow.

Nice job, I would have gone with a dark silver instead of white but it looks cool anyway.

Relatively easy. They cover the cam advance and seal the inside oil passage in the cam. you can pull it off, but quite a bit of oil will come out. You will also run the risk of getting pieces of old RTV inside your engine. If you just want to paint it you're much better masking it off and doing it in place.
