updates:
got my wheels today .. they are definitley light, especially for the size... you can feel all the weight is in the wheel face, and the rim itself is very light.
All this made zero difference to me becuase i dropped ym car off at Intnese today w a very loud failing rod knock, and it will be weeks before i have a car again.
Now i get to buy an engine that i dont have money for.
I am cursed.

big ol tires, big ol fenders
I do appreciate that.. i just de-riced my car a touch i must say.. as Pete calls my car.." Its Kung Fu.. i mean, everythin on it looks like it wants to kick your @ss.. then you open the hood and see a mostly stock VQ"
Well not no mo....
And were not just doing the common stage one, were using a stage 2 BIG turbo, built internals, and a double walboro return fuel system w 1200 cc injectors on Osiris.
Thanks Intense! Ill leak pics and info into this thread, but will likely built a purely FI thread for it..
No dreaming here... Casr at Intense.. the engines out of the car, its stripped down... chose the color for my BOV too haha... all parts are all on order.
Now I wait.
I wait for 650 rwhp.. !
But for now, im rollin like this brutha... time for some Angry Birds i guess.

alright, parts heeyah. oh yeah.
OK so most of my parts are in..
Appears this is what Im looking at with this build.. im sure im missing some things.
Fully built block to zero miles
All the fun clean bore magnaflux stuff..
micropolish balance etc.
Brian Crower Sportsman rods
CP Pistons 8.5:1 compression
Brian Crower Valve springs and retainers
ARP headstuds
HR Oil pump and head gaskets
Standard head work, no crazy port n polish or anything
New valve seats.
Deatschwerks 1200 cc Injectors
dual Walboro 255 fuel pumps
New valve covers ( mine have the ol oil leak now)
Powerlab plenum spacer
Back to the stock alum plenum top due to PSI
(Kinetix and JWT of course went bye bye. )
Powerlabs new protokit..
Possibly using larger piping and a different placement for the wastegate.
Garrett r37 BB single turbo
Osiris maps for street.
Wastgate spring controlled boost.
New tires for the Forgestars ( the 305s are lookin TINY)
Pirelli 325 25 20s.
CD009 updated transmission.. just got a sweet deal on one w 46k on it.
Limited by the JWT clutch and the driveability factor, so i dont want a 6 puck at all.. so that limits the build, but 5-600 hp is absolutley more than i need.
Little stuff like Apexi turbo timer ( its frikn hot here. i dont care what anyone says about not needing one for a watercooled turbo.. that kind of heat sitting in the parking lot is going to cook my floorboard ), swapping out the previosu nitrous gauges for some better boost related stuff..
Auto Inovatio Keyless push button start system.
whew.. thats alot of crap to install.
I want my car back like yesterday too.. aint gna happen.

On your build, like why the headwork with stock cams? Why not use the proven CJM fuel system? Why 1200CC injectors, E85? You can't be keeping the X02.
With them, I understand the whole Osiris thing but a 37 with most likely the same PL piping with a relocated wastegate? Doesn't seem like they are going to do anything above and beyond to make a PL 2.0 kit, sounds like a PL 1.1 kit without a utec.

Not a big deal man, I was just under the impression they were building a new kit to sell in place of the current. The stuff you mentioned sounds like a shop car or a personal build, not something you can market as a tuner or full kit.
They should take a lesson from GTM and offer turbos and piping, with a la carte accessories based on customer power goals.

Fer sure..I can't attest to their direction of course..but yea. Sounds like they just wanted to nip n tuck n areas of their existing kit..we shall see i guess.
As for the head work..I'm adding things so it will b a bit more rugged. I dont want another blown engine. So I gave green light to add some better gear up top..good time to do it.
Really what it boils down to is shop loyalty and keeping my cash in AZ.
I almost pulled the trigger on several sources I've be er met or even dealt w before. Didn't make sense when I stepped back and looked at the big picture.
was an opportune time to go fi..a deal was offered ..and I took it.
I appreciate the food for thought tho. Ill run it by Pete for sure.

k so updates, not really flashy here or anything.
MY stock crank was toast, theyd have to polish it down so far id be able to double stack bearings haha.. not good.
So i bought a new core and its off to the shop.. machine work begins today.
I was wrong about he fuel pumps, I am in fact going to be running CJM.
We are looking at a GT37r turbo at this time. and it also appears that Osiris can control a boost solenoid to act as my EBC.. pretty cool.
Talked to Pete yesterday about break in methods etc. Will be broken in on the dyno, etc etc.
Finished product is to be delivered within the next 4 weeks, im told the parts arrival and the machine shop wait was to be the longest part of the deal.
IM also not sold on the Forgestars.
They are huge and will no doubt drive well, but they arent concave much in the rear, and it really just looks like a purely functional race car... that happens to have a big whacked out body kit on it... so yeah, those will most likely end up being my dyno day and daily drive wheels... i worked out a deal with Forged Specialties to get a superior hook up on a set of 3 piece again, and will most likely jump on that in a few weeks.. back to a 7 inch lip in the rear again.
hopefully have the wheels in before the summers out and we head into the holidays.
Bought some random parts for it too, billet oil caps, carbon engine covers, Mishimoto air valance, little apexi turbo timer ( i know , uselss, but i like it) a K40 RL100 radar detector w blend mount, and a push button start from auto innovatio.
