You can get some ebay lights and just take the lenses off those if you want. you can't buy the lenses only- you need to purchase the entire headlight assembly.

if its scuff up then maybe you can try to have a body shop sand and reclear. a set of cheapo headlights from ebay is like 150. see if you can get yours redone for less than that. if not buy a whole new set and replace

well its weird because there is a spot where its scuffed on the driver side and when you slide your hand across it its still smooth. not sure if its from the inside maybe or it was recleared before...i think i'll get new lenses.

there is an east coast shop that sells lenses, not always in great condition for 100-150 per... frankly you should just wait and try to get some 06+ off someone local looking to trade.

Default headlight painting and part swapping

I have the same problem, took apart my 06 lights and they are perfect on the inside, but no matter what i do to the lenses they remain scratched and foggy. I saw the idea of buying cheaper ebay lights and just using the lenses, so i bought a set of aftermarket headlight made for 03-05, will the lens cover fit my 06 headlights? that's the only part im using. Also, I'm going to paint the inside housing, do I need to use high temperature paint?

Im going to be using these lenses . I have no experience with them yet but figured I would share. I've seen another Z with those lenses and the cut off was sharp.

Anyone know if the 03-05 HL lense is the same as the 06+ HL Lense? And can they be swapped?

Default Sorry to revive..

Sorry to revive an older thread but how about the insides?

I've painted my lights and they turned out ok but the gray shroud over the bulb itself is a little screwed up. Looking to get new ones of these.. Anyone know of a site that sells them?

Would love to avoid dropping $350+ per headlight to re-buy the whole thing.

Easier to fix them tbh..no one sees them alone. The depo version allows light leak thru in comparison to oem

Wow those headlights look fantastic!

Mind if I ask what bulb you put in the side? That blue is perfect!

Assuming you the shop put in some LED's with resistors...do you remember which brand of LED and what specs they are? I'm about to do the same thing as you, except I'm a DIY kinda guy

Thanks and congrats on the great looking Z,

Saved, since I'm not a DIY gal but really wish I was, I asked the guy who built and installed it for me - "just tell him plcc2 LED". Hope that helps.
