Default 350z Tail Light Covers & Front Bumper Light Overlay

Hey guys, I recently wanted to invest my money in getting my tail lights and front bumper lights smoked out and was wondering if it looks cheap and noticable if you put the covers on instead of tinting them?

almost every state has a similar law.. and it pertains to the color of the lighting to the front and rear of any vehicle.
They can also hit you for the ability of said light to be adequate for roadworthiness, ie, if it can be seen.

My lights have been painted by a real shop, no vht spray cans.
They are only lightly smoked, cost me 100 bucks and are fully buffable and shiny, and completely NOT illegal.

Yes, in general, the overlays are not going to be what you expect.. ive been there, and they almost always look poor.
There are exceptions, but I would stay away from them.

I had mine painted and love em. Plus if you look from the side, they still reflect very well so I'm hoping the popo won't notice. I didn't do my rears because I figure if I could pulled over, it would be obvious I modded the lights.

never had any troubles with mine. They are not completely back. a light tint would be fine.

Not meaning to threadjack here, but i've seen a lot of people hating on the eyelids for a Z33. What do you guys think about them?
