Default 5pt harness possible with stock seats?

I want to keep my stock seats and run a 5pt harness on the driver side. Anyone do this before and is it possible to fit a harness in the stock seat?

I dont see how the seat would keep you from being able to run a 5 point.

You can run shoulders through headrest extension bars to harness bar, driver side door lap belt mounted to oem seat belt bolt location, drill hole through trans tunnel with welded support plate and eye bolt for other lap bolt location, and do same to crotch strap bolt location under middle of seat.

Supposed to, yes, on seats that have the hole to do this....but many dont. Ive seen it done both ways, but not sure what the rules say about something like this, you would have to prob ask someone like JasonZ or Scotts about that.

But yes, it can be and has been done many times without going through a hole in the seat.

Yes, I believe 3" belts at at least 4 points are a requirement per most AutoX and drifting, but not 100% on that. 2" belts are the "tuner" style harnesses and are only recommended for street use but are still far better than a regular seat belt at holding.

Can you go to a track with 2" belts, yes. Can you compete in events with 2" belts, not sure.
