ya, looks pretty good.

I'll be getting a huge sheet of this stuff in soon. Not sure if I'm going to clear coat it yet though (maybe some pieces). Without the clear coat it looks more like dry/prepreg carbon fiber, which looks cool too.

The clear is just for appearance purposes. The stuff looks pretty good either way. I just preferred it with the glossy clear look.

WARNING: This stuff gets addictive. I'm just looking for **** to cover in this material. It's cheap, easy, and looks good.

I went with 2-3 layers of clear. But the stuff looks good as is. Comes down to preference.

I'm already doing that. And I bought a $380 sheet, so not too cheap at that size. But considering I could probably do most of the car with that, it's a good value for the looks, and you get to protect whatever you put it on!

It is Duplicolor automotive clear in a black can with a clear top. Bought it at my local Pep Boys.

Metra Restyling. I ordered it on Nov 16. Was supposed to come Nov 19-20. Did not recieve until Nov 26. Emailed the seller on Nov 24 and he got back to me the next day saying UPS probably held it up because of the holiday. ....

I ordered it from them because they had the authentic 3m stuff for about $25 shipped for 12"x48" sheet, the cheapest I could find. But I was a little pissed about the shipping time frame. There is lots of sellers with this stuff on ebay. Just make sure it's authentic 3m Di-Noc. I got a sample of xpel's stuff and the quality was not as good as the 3m material.

My Z is a 2007 base model. I think the door cup holders came in 2006 when they overhauled the interior.

Thinking about getting this done to the center panel and the door pulls as well. I like the dry weave look better since it seems to flow well with the rest of the interior. Couldn't decide between shiny vs. dull and the OP's pix definitely helped me decide.
Looks nice though!

I like it but I think I'd prefer it not cleared.

It looked good not cleared but I wanted to give it a go with the clear. It stood out a little more. I'll see how it all blends when I upholster the door inserts, armrests, and headliner in alcantara/ultrasuede.
