Default OEM spoiler

So, my Z did not come with the spoiler/lip (below) included on many from the factory. In your opinions what is the best way of coming by one of these? I have seen them on ebay, and was curious if anyone has bought one of the painted ones of there. I am debating matching it with the body color like most are or having it painted black. Anyone else think this might look good? Also could anyone photoshop a black factory spoiler onto a carbon silver HR Z? Thanks guys.

the only thing im scared about with the ebay ones is fitment. I would jump on the price in a heartbeat. I'm hoping someone on here has bought one off ebay :/

Is it just me or was the Z in a small accident? Look where rear quarter panel and door meet.

PS, I'm interested in finding one of these as well

Got one from this seller for my wife's ex-TSX a while back. Fit like OEM and the paint match (Milano Red) was perfect. Amazing deal for ~$100.

Go with Spoiler Depot.
I also went with spoilerdepot for my OEM style spoiler. Bought it last year and it was $200 shipped within continental USA if I remember correctly. The paint match is great (Magnetic Black - G41). My only problem is fitment. I attached it with 3m automotive tape and even used the adhesion promoter stuff and it still wants to come unstuck on the two far ends / corners. It has the provisions for attaching it with screws but I didn't feel like drilling thru my hatch.

For a vast financial savings, I think spoilerdepot is totally worth it even considering the 95% fitment (in my opinion).

thanks a lot everyone! I was completely unaware of spoiler depot at first. Now my only predicament is deciding between the factory one and my other favorite, the nismo v1

Great post as I'm also in the market for a OEM spoiler for my black 2008 350z. Only question I have is what does fitment mean? Also, is it better to 'tape' the spoiler on or drill into the hatch? I guess that was two questions

I have a CF spoiler I purchased on eBay about 3 years ago that I decided against, it attaches with 3M double sided tape, sold separately. The fitment is very good, I found a OEM super black lip here in the classifieds, nobody even mentioned this idea.

I think any lip/spoiler should be attached with 3M double sided tape & with the screws & nuts just like the factory used. I posted an original template for the perfect alignment, along with instructions from NiSSan.

Either way I have a CF lip/spoiler for sale $125.00 plus actual shipping, I can post pics if anybody is interested on Sunday or Monday, I am studying for my insurance license so that is the priority now.
