None had cracks, the tool and a heat gun is cheaper than whatever this catastrophe will cost you. I hate to see this kind of thing happen. I would seriously talk to the owner of the shop, and if he doesnt fix it, I would try BBB and if that doesnt work, sue him for damages. Thats not a fender roll, thats clearly something else!

Wanna roll mine? jp... OP, i like this BBB idea... Call them out on that crap!! plus, you already got pix!!

i'm glad i shaved mine instead of messing with fender rollers. but this shop did an awful sloppy job. i'm disgusted. indeed there was not guarantee in doing the work but they shouldn't have lied to you like that.

Thats what happens when you dont use a heat gun.

What convinced "most shops" to not want to do it. If it just a normal car, there is no reason this couldnt be done. My car group got a fender roller and successfully rolled like 30 cars without a flaw. few 350z, 300z, evo, sti, mazdas, beamers, brand new wrx. Unless it was repainted or something, i dont know why they wouldnt want to do it but apparently they knew why they didnt want to do it.

anybody have any experience cutting the majority of our mile wide fender lip? would be interested to see how that would turn out, might be a safer alternative to rolling.

When the owner said he couldn't guarantee anything I would have bailed right then and there.
