hey guys, i just installed 8000k bulb in my g35 and the passenger side flickers for like 5 secs and then it works fine. Do you guys think it's because the bulbs are new? What else can cause this?

 

Are the ballasts aftermarket also, or are you using the OEM ballasts?

 

Sounds normal if they're aftermarket. I put 6000K in my Hummer 3 years ago and they still do it. I guess I just got used to it. Besides, it takes longer than 5 seconds for me to get it going fast enough to worry about lights.

check the wiring, harness, socket, ballast etc. A new bulb shouldn't be flickering, it should illuminate nice slow and steady. You might have a defective bulb
