there are already very similar kits out there for the Z...though they are probably discontinued or pretty expensive since no one in there right mind would make a replica set for it.

OP - The most help I can offer is that both the Mastergrade and Asuka widebody kits both have vents in this quarter panel.

Neither have any performance improvement, and will likely just create drag. To whoever said you don't need an engine in the rear to use these ducts...that's not really true. The only things you could possibly want to cool with ducts like this in the rear with a FR vehicle are brakes and the differential, both of which would require 1/20th the size of just one of those ducts. I think as long as you own up to this and admit it's strictly a visual modification you're wanting and not try to pass it off like you need them you won't get so much flack.

the hose leads back through the car, then routed to he brakes...

not too sure what you call the vents in the rear of the trunk...

As I stated earlier, there is no need for vents anywhere that large for a car without an engine in the rear. Here is a good example of a FR car (CTS-V coupe race car) using NACA ducts for what I can only assuming are for the rear brakes and possibly rear diff.

This is on a full out race car that no doubt has more need for proper cooling than 99.9% of the cars on this forum, a vent as large as what the OP is suggesting for necessity is ridiculous. It'd just create loads of drag.
