Steering Wheel extension
Is there any way to extend the OEM steering wheel with an adapter/extension like for the aftermarket wheels?
In order to reach the steering wheel comfortably with my hands, I'm having to sit uncomfortably close to the pedals with my feet...

I can make something work for you but if you ever get in an accident, don't ever f'n acknowledge me (I guess it doesn't help that I'm telling you this lol). My old man is 5'3, one short muthafawker and everyone in my family makes fun of him but we all make chit work (no joke), a lot of CNC machinist and mechanics in the family
Lmao, Dave to the rescue!! Thats what i was thinking too actually. And i think that the Z is the most comfortable car ever created in terms of steering wheel setup. I mean all your gauges and meters move with the wheel when you adjust them. That is a rare feature. Usually cars have the wheel move separately from the speedo/tacho etc and you can only see half of the ****ing dial.
how much longer? mind all the wiring associated would need extension. ever look into an aftermarket steering wheel?
and +1 to thefarmer for doin work lol. cool to see people help others out

I remember when I first got my Z it took me two weeks of adjusting the seat position before I found the confortable position. Naturally, you want the pedals to be in the right place and be able to reach the steering wheel comfortably.
Use the slider to get your feet positioned properly, then use the seat back angle and the seat base height to adjust for your arms.

Personally... I'm a 6'2", 200 lb white guy. My arms and legs are proportional
. That being said, I have one extra vertebrae in my back. I don't "gangsta'-lean" in my Z. I have the seat back sitting very far up (more so than in pretty much any car I've ever owned before it), so far so that (with my torso length) my hair is touching the ceiling. It's also scooted as far forward as I can where my knees just BARELY graze the dash when I shift/brake. I STILL wish the steering wheel was about 1/2-1" closer to me. I would be able to completely lean back in the seat without slouching forward at all.

Sorry for the late reply, but I'm just now reading these comments, and LOL.
Anyways, if I was doing the "gangsta lean", wouldn't it be the opposite of my problem? And I'm only 1/4 asian, lol.
I like to be able to comfortably reach the steering wheel (e.g. able to reach it with arms relaxed/bent). My seating angle is also somewhere between 10 and 20*, so by most accounts, I'm upright as you can get.
It probably just comes down to the high clutch engagement point, in all honesty. Ideally, I could telescope the steering wheel out another 3-4", and keep the high clutch engagement point, as the shorter travel is quicker. The problem I am having is that my knees are so bent/angled, it's hard to feel the clutch grab. I'm constantly thinking "it must be engaged by now", releasing fully, and then getting treated with a nice jolt.
