Default Those Who HAD Eyelids...

To those who had AUT eyelids: Did your headlights get messed up after removing the eyelids? I heard that if put long enough, the eyelids can cause damage to the headlight. I forgot where i heard that though so would like opinions from fellow (ex)AUT eyelid owners

youd need to heat up the eyelid very well before removing w a heat gun or youre gonna crack your lens plastic. and spray wd40 as you remove it.. then clean it up and get a 20 dollar headlight repair kit from Autozone to even out the UV fading... done.

Anything stuck on the lenses long enough will stain them with residue. I had 3 different types on my headlights...3 months your fine, 6 months your fine, after a year they start to leave sh*t behind.

Its not hard to restore the lenses though
