I would go with $30.99/yard because no one wants cheap stuff in their car.

Difference is in the thread count, just like sheets. The more expensive one is likely more durable and will last longer and probably easier to work with.

I get some suede headliner jobs a couple of times a month(side jobs), and I tried to save a few bucks one time and I ended up buying suede from Joanne's instead of the usual place I go to...

The suede from joanne's is by far a thinner fabric and it feels way different from the other fabric... Different as in, the fabric from my usual place is softer, smoother, and thicker... The Joanne fabric, was thinner, and soaked up the spray adhesive so much that it bled through and the suede was ruined...

So, long story short, I tried to save a few bucks and go the Joanne route and it ended up costing me more than if I went with the suede I usually use from the other place...

I used the same spray adhesive I always use, so I know it had to be the fabric from Joanne's...

I've read that other people have used the suede from Joanne's without a problem, but this was my experience...

OP, just compare the fabrics and get the one YOU think will be best for YOU... If you can't decide, I would suggest you leave it to a professional...
