It is what it is. I had a plan and the courage to follow through with it. It may have not come off exactly the way I wanted it to. However, I learned some new skills and had some fun with build process. I think I might replace the hood with an aftermarket one here soon, but I like the scoop and that is all the matters. Thanks for the few who posted some positive comments, advice, and support.
After I acquire a new hood and paint it. I’m going to get a new set of rims, maybe a 1" drop. Those will be the only exterior mods I plan on. As for the eyelids I love them. They really make the car look way cooler IMO.
Cheers

I gotta admit I looked through the thread and then seen the dryer ducting... and immediately /facepalmed. Glad to see it came off though =D
As for those hating: I'd lay a G they haven't laid a finger one on their own ride to modify it in a DIY manner for fear of effing something up. Takes a good bit of guts and skill to work on your car with something new like this. Thanks for sharing.

I got it on. The hood pins were a pain to install. It is going over to the body shop today. They will be adjusting the hood. If they can't get the spaces out they will have to lay down some fiber before they paint it. I think it will look great when it is done.
I'm selling the old hood with the scoop on it. I will post a FS thread soon.

lol you bought the hood pins that could be mounted from under the hood so they are flush mount but i see you monted them regular and looks like you mounted the hood pins backwards, thats prolly y u had to make a bracker for the pin under the hood.
Couldnt find any better pics of my hood pins installed but y didnt you go with the CF hood and y did u mount the on top of hood if the pins were made for flush mounting? JW

Oh man, I did mount them backwards. They still work and look fine. I dropped the car off at the Hot Rod shop. Looks like some fiber is in order to fix the gap.
I used this to install them, oh well.
