Dude, glad to see that you're having fun modifying your Z on your own and not just sticking to the tried and true things that everyone has seen 1000 times before. I'm of the same mindset because at the end of the day, it's my car and I'm doing it all for me.
That being said, I've also learned some lessons the hard way by trying to be a pioneer or an innovator (if only in my own mind). Anyways, kudos for the DIY work, man.
Also, I never liked the way that that style hood looked in the "sales pictures", but I really liked the way the vents looked in your pics. You have me rethinking my own hood choice.

How about an "in cabin" view of how the vents look while driving?
I love getting excited about other people's cars too. It helps me deal with the patience of waiting to do things to my own as I can afford it.
