7. Open your hood and get ready to tear up some CF.
8. Locate the 4 large bolts and 4 large washers.
9. After careful consideration and the fact that I could not find another mounting point I will bolt the pins here, next to the head light.

10.The bolt is larger than the hole as the hole is oval not a circle, quick forward and back with the largest drill bit I have fixed that.
11. Close up on the pin mounting hole.
12. The other side done and pin in place up high for first mark.

13. Tube of special hood pin marking epoxy, use a clean tissue to handle this so you do not contaminate the epoxy for further use in other fields. Do Not ask where I got it!
14. Epoxy the top of the pin.
15. Close the hood straight, look up and you will see the drill mark from the epoxy.

16. Cover your engine with anything. "i.e. cardboard"
17. Drill a hole for the pin under the hood.
18. Add more epoxy to the pin and close the hood then drill where ever you see that blue paste.

19. Once the pin fits without epoxy on the sides you can now pop the hood up and double check the pins position. Placed the lock on and got an idea of what I wanted, this is also the angle I have seen in other pics.

20. Now that one side is started I went to the other side to do the same. The bolts are to long for my TN turbo kit so I grabbed a saw and cut them to size.
21. Epoxy the pin and close hood for a drill mark.
22. Drill a hole into the hood without hitting the CF weave up top.

23. Unscrew the pins some so they now hit the upper layer of CF. Use epoxy to mark the upper layer by closing the hood on the pin. Drill a hole from bottom then close hood. Drill or sand dremmel to the pin so you can see it to the point of lining the template. Tape the template up and go get dremmel cutting wheels.
24. Cut the straight sides and rem the less you cut out the better you are cuss you can take away but you can not add to it.
25. make small marks for the round sides of the template, then cut it out a little further into center.

26. Remove the CF cut out.
27. Trim/Sand with dremmel to make smooth, place the aerocatch lock in and keep sanding sides till it fits snug. Drill Holes for bolts on sides.
28. Cut Bottom out so you can bolt it up.

Yea I hope so as well LOL but in the end I will just buy another hood if I do not like the angle. I seen it at this angle with the more aggressive hoods like the fusion as my hood is not flat.

Nope the vents on the hood will be CF, not to sure about the roof atm and the hatch will only be CF on the inner side. The fenders will be like the second pic in this thread https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-an...aint-idea.html and the side skirts will be painted from the top lip up. Then the rear... thats an interesting story that I am not to sure about yet. lol
