Ok long story short is I have my '08 front nose peice for sale and this guy with an earlier model (2003) is interested. Problem is, I honestly don't know if my '08 piece will fit his '03. I don't want to be that A$$ who tells him it'll work and it ends up not working.

When selling parts, I recommended that you make no guarentee of what fits what. You end up with an unhappy buyer, and lots of drama here. Its up to the buyer to figure out if your parts are suitable.

 

It will fit, however the plastic wheel lining will not cover all of it, as the 08 bumper is a little wider so there will be a small gap.
If he doesn't mind the gap it's fine.

 

Believe me I've tried. Seeing as we're in a forum with thousands of members that like to talk about car stuff... figured it would be faster. But thank you anyway
