Shift **** Adaptor
I have this Hurst Shift **** from a C5 vet and I wanna fit it on my Z is it possible?
http://www.hurst-shifters.com/hurst-...****-6-SPEED_7
Hurst **** = 9x16-18
350z = 10 x 1.25 mm
anyone know of an adaptor for that or something els that would work?
I googled and couldn't find anything.

You can get a Heli-Coil insert installed in your **** to fit the 10x1.25mm threading. If you’re lucky there may also be a simpler brass insert available that you could loctite in place and cut & file smooth to conform to the bottom of the ****.
My dad used to do a lot of this type of stuff. I have a lot of his old tools and stuff packed away and I’m sure there are tons of Heli-Coils and all the tooling to install them. If you were local to me you would be welcome to use them to convert your ****. However, any really good fabrication shop can take care of this for you.

^ werd..find a local machine shop.........have them handle it.........take them a M10x1.25 bolt to use to verify...etc..
search online for helicoils or call a local fastener store.....helicoil sales store, ie, they will have a helicoil kit that may work for you......but a machine shop will have this as well and sell you the one you need, or make something work...
