I've heard that the shiny dinoc is not made by 3m. It supposedly real dinoc that a middle man buys and then he puts a shiny clear plastic over it. I haven't had any hands on experience with it but the company i bought my 3m dinoc from gave me this info and also said it is tougher to use because the shiny stuff makes it slightly thicker.
That's the only tricky part for the door switch. I cut and folded in what there was from the original vinyl I put on, then cut out smaller pieces to try to fit and match that pattern direction. Here are a couple close ups. I can get better ones tomorrow in the day light if you want some more.

3M does have a new shiny film out. It's called 1080-CF12 Black Carbon Fiber
