whatttt uuupp guyyys lol.. well after messing with the hood for about 3 days straight finally got it to shut lol. just wanted to say thanks you guys helped alot and will be posting pics tmrw so you could see how it came out. after i wash it of course lol thanks again
I recommend using clay instead of axle grease for checking clearances.
Just take off your strut bar if it is the issue and put the hood on. Look for an aftermarket strut bar in the meantime. Driving without a strut bar will not hurt anything.
That was my idea.
I had the same issue, but mine turned out to be the hood prop. Took it out and no problem...

what up guys another question lol. any of you cf guys notice your hood vibrating/ moving up and down when driving only when you hit a bump in the road or something just noticed this today and was a little freaked out lol. is this normal because of the weight diffrence? or the vents?
i think is due to less rigidity. i used to have the same problem while speeding doing 130 mph. so i installed the TS hood latches, and its just perfect.

same. used aerocatch pins. at about 150+ it really moves
ok just got a lil scared never remembered my stock hood doing that lol i ordered the aerocatch pins yesterday and ill post pics when the weather gets better here in abq nm really really windy right now lol
