Default Window Motor Came Back To Life?

My right window motor went out and I have been waiting for the warranty to transfer so I can take it in to Nissan and today when I closed the door, I heard that motor and now it is working? Has anyone else had this happen? I'll probably still take it in but it was weird because it wasn't even responding and was like completely dead now it works fine...

It will die again soon, mine did that a few times. Found out if i slammed the door hard enough it would work a couple times.

so i got a 04 with 67k . one day put the window down, never went up again til 3 days later suddenly worked. pulled motor, it spun freely.. figured the glass maybe to heavy and its going...but ended up replacing window master switch and both motors. problem solved. under extended aftermarket warranty. 100 deductible, it was 1100$ with labor, $263 x 2 for each motor, and switch was $265

Grease gets on the comutator of the electric motor, creates a back contact between the brushes and the comm. Sometime it will work, sometimes it willnot. The prob is Nissan mounted the electric motor with the comm facing down.

Mine always does that. When it sticks, I push the button that makes it go down, then use my hand to help the window go down. Works every time.
