Default Katzkin Black Leather w/ White Stitch

*More Pics In Post Below*

I finally got my Katzkin leather seats put in the other day and thought I would share. They are black leather, perforated centers, with a double white stitch. This is definitely one of the highest quality mods I have done to my car so far. The quality of the leather and stichting is unreal. The seats feel 10 times better than the stock cloth seats, and it made the car smell brand new. Sorry for the cell pics, I will try to snap some pics with my camera shortly. Feedback is always welcome!

looks good for a DIY job, probably wana use some steam and spray glue if you ever get in there again.. takes the wrinles out and lays down the high traffic areas very well.

Its a PITA to do tho for sure.. i had my Connely leather seats done by a shop... no way i was gonna try THAT again myself.

trunk looks good btw.

we are rocking the same steering wheel also it appears.

^ Yeah its not the funnest thing in the world. The passenger seat was perfect, but the drivers had a couple small wrinkles. I took the pictures as soon as it was done, but from sitting in the sun and using the seat it has worked out very well. Ill try to get some more detailed pics with my Nikon later.

Those look great! Don't worry about the wrinkles, they will come out once the leather is heated up from the sun

Here are some more detailed pics of the seats I took tonight. This is after they have been on for about 4 days now.

I also went by a friends shop today that does upholstery to have him check them out. He said that some slight gathering is perfectly normal, and that sun does help. He also said that he tries to avoid glue at all cost on seats, and just uses hog rings. He said that if you glue an area that constantly has weight applied to it over and over, it can be damaged over time. He said the material glued to the foam will move when sat in, and it can seperate over time, even rip the foam. He said if this happens it can cause a malformation where the foam tears. He said hog rings have give, so it will not affect the foam structure. He said using glue on a console, door panel, headliner etc is cool because it does not have weight applied or have to move.

When I did these I just put the hog rings back in the factory locations and it seemed to work fine. And the factory material was not glued to the foam either.

from what I've seen they offer a couple variations of this color. One is darker like the king ranch edition f350, and the other is light like the BMW cinnamon color.
