so i got the car with 03 to 05 headlights and its an 06. i guess instead of disconnect the whole harness they decided to cut wires. so now i think i need a new harness as this one has no help.

this one has all the wires cut.to the right of the plug runs into the headlight. the left of the plug runs out of a grommet in the picture after this one

right now i have 03 05 headlights in like stated, im wondering if i can use harness outta them? i also found a 03 05 hid harness on ebay.

I got some 06's sitting in front of me. I can take pictures of a specific area if that would help you. I have an 04 Z and they plugged right in and worked fine without modification.

 

Easiest fix would be to go back to the origs it came with, they looked good and behaved fine, I am assuming...hell, i like the 05 headligjts better anyways, if nothing else, you can always throw and HID kit in if you want something different...just my 2cents

I'm sorry i'm really confused by your original post, I don't understand what you need.

But I have a complete headlamp harness from my 04 that I don't need anymore. I bought new 06+ headlamps that came with the harness. If you can use it you can have them, just pay the shipping. I'm not sure if the harness will work on 06+ headlamps. You may be able to get it working without too much trouble.

 

got one headlight done today. the wiring to convert from 06 lights back to 03 05 lights(my cars and 06) was hacked like a *****. so i basically had to re wire the whole headlight. took 4hrs for one headlight. now i have a new problem. the sockets for the lights are different from 03-05 compared to 06. i have no 06 sockets for my driver side headlight. seems they yanked the whole harness out of it.
gregom, i appreciate the help. i have an 03 -05 harness right now but the sockets dont work in the 06 lamps. so know i need a new 06 harness or some sockets one.

 

If my cay is 06 and I want to put 03 heAdlight on it, I will have to re wire the whole thing pluse buying a new socket ???

 

probably the easiest way would be figure out what wire does what on the 03 light. cut the pigtail off the 06 light leaving eough wire to splice back into the plug and the harness on the headligth if you ever wanna go back to the 06 light. then splice the 06 pigtail onto the 03 lights.
