new transmission mount. Its right at your shifter.

I bought an Avid billet and poly mount....
true story...Shifter no longer rattles... but the rest of the car does now. ha.

its gonna viobrate no matter what.. its not a mid engine car w cables on the shifter.. that shifter goes right out of your hand and into your transmission.

Those always shake. But its far les annoying now w the new mount than not.. id just get a new OEM mount tho...

I was able to figure something out with this. It seems that if the shift **** isn't tight enough it will rattle. What I did was take some teflon tape and wrap the shyte out of the threads on the shifter. I wrapped it around the threads so much that you could almost not see the threads. Then (while holding the shifter with pliers of course) cranked the **** on there. It's wicked tight on the shaft, and the rattle is gone.
