Just finished installing the seats. 3 hrs. total. I couldn't wait so I started at 11:00 PM. Here are some photos. The trim on thee seats match the Z's trim perfectly. They really feel great. I had the Track seats with Katzsin Leather covers with the air bags.
I check the shipping weight tomorrow. They didn't fell any heavier
than the stock.

Those Sparcos look kinda comfy compared to the one in my car. I have the nonadjustable competition grade Sparco Ultra seat in my car. Put it in yesterday and have been enjoying it ever since. The ultra is only 12.8 pounds and hugs me in all the right spots. definitely a good investment for $370. I feel much more secure and confident driving aggressivly now with the seat in place.

Great job! Also glad to see you're doing well and back to modding the car. By the way did Sparco have the seat bases in or did you have to fabricate them? They only listed the 300ZX on their website before. Finally, it appears that the seat release for the passenger seat is on the inside of the seat. Did you order two drivers seats so that you could move the seat forward like you can on the regular seats (actually much better location than the back of the seat for stock)? That was really smart thinking on your part if you did!

BTW according to the website, it says the Milano seat weighs 38 lbs. Retail prices are listed there as well.

 

Anyone know the weight of a Touring seat?

 

Here is Sparco's Seat Chart that lists the size and weight of the seats they offer. Touring is 17 lbs.
